Olithu Madu Manushya’ roughly translates to “Do good, O human” or “Be good, human” – essentially, is an encouragement to live a righteous or virtuous life.

Noushad Ali, established the Olithu Madu Manushya Trust in 2019 in Jayanagar, Bangalore, inspired by the phrase.

A Start Of Something Inspiring

Initially, he distributed free meals to the hungry and weak near railway stations, bus stands, NIMHANS, Victoria Hospital, and Jayadeva Hospital. Ever since, he has carried out countless public service activities through his trust.

Currently, the trust has 68,000 members in the state of Karnataka.

Olithu Madu Manushya Trust is dedicated to uplifting lives through food distribution, education support, and healthcare aid. With a strong commitment to humanitarian service, the trust has positively impacted thousands of people across Karnataka.

Impact of the work done by Olithu Madu Manushya Trust:

Food Security

During the COVID-19 lockdown, the trust distributed free meals to 300 people daily in Mangalore and Bangalore.

In response to the 2018 Madikeri landslide, the trust provided financial aid and free meals to affected families.

The trust has served over

1.72 lakh meals till date

, ensuring vulnerable communities do not go hungry.

Healthcare Initiatives

The trust has organized several blood donation camps in Bangalore, Mangalore, and Puttur.

Between 2019 and 2025, the trust covered hospital expenses for 816 patients who needed medical treatment but could not afford it.

Empowering Education

From 2019 to 2025, the trust has distributed free textbooks and school bags to 1,200 First PUC and Second PUC students.

Supporting Families in Need

Since 2019, the trust has provided monthly ration kits to 1,955 underprivileged families, ensuring access to essential food supplies.

Future Plans

Housing Support – The trust aims to give financial assistance to 10 extremely humble families for house construction.

Expanding Educational Aid – Plans are in place to distribute school bags to 4 thousand underprivileged students, encouraging them to pursue education.

Women Empowerment – The trust intends to support financial independence of 25 widows by providing tailoring machines.

Expanding Educational Outreach – Efforts are underway to establish the Olithu Madu Manushya Education Charitable Trust across Karnataka, ensuring orphaned children receive quality education and a brighter future.
